2018-06-02 COBA Mentor opportunity – Saturday June 2, at 2:00 PM

Week 2 of “COBA Mentor” program at Will Rogers Gardens Exhibition Center, 3400 NW 36th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73112. Saturday June 2, 2:00 PM.

Northwest parking lot. We’ll enter the gate near the big trash bin. Bring your preferred protective gear and plenty of water. It’s gonna be HOT!

We’ll be inspecting a double deep plus honey supers. It should be interesting, since two weeks ago they had capped queen cells.

October 2017 and February/March 2018 Students are especially invited, but other are welcome too.


The March COBA Meeting will be 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday March 22, 2018.
Setup will start by 6:30 PM.
Cleanup must be complete by 9:30 PM.
We appreciate assistance with setup and cleanup.

Please bring a snack to share with others during the break/social portion of the evening. This has NOT been well supported lately. COBA provides beverages.

Members are invited to bring a bee-related item for the door prize drawing.


It is time to pay 2018 membership dues, if you haven’t already. October 2017 Students, February 2018 Students, and already enrolled March 2018 Students are “dues paid”.

2018-03-16 Class Schedule Update

The March 2018 class is almost full, with only 8 seats remaining.  Due to poor enrollment the last two years, there will be no Fall class in 2018.

The 2019 Winter classes have been scheduled.

Currently scheduled classes:
March 24 & 31, 2018 (Maximum 30 students) 8 seats remaining (as of 3/16)
January 19 & 26, 2019 (Maximum 30 students)
March 2 & 9, 2019 (Maximum 30 students)
